BIO Deutschland e. V. is an independent biotechnology organization. We represent the interests of our members at national, European and global level. Biotechnology transfers biology into industrial appli cations. It has already shown widely visible benefits in medicine, for example Innovative bio-based economic systems can enable Germany and Europe to achieve sovereignty and prosperity in the long term. Our network within the association is interdisciplinary and unique. Our members research, develop, produce and market globally. We are a strong community. We focus on diversity, openness and equal opportunities and are committed to the free democratic basic order.

Field of activity
Our work is based on three main pillars:
1. Politics. We are committed to bring forth good political framework conditions for our innovative members.
2. Public Relations. We create awareness that biotechnology is an important key technology to meet the great challenges of our time.
3. Networking. We provide events and other opportunities for exchanges between companies in the industry, such as the German Biotechnology Days.
