Erst kürzlich gab die international tätige Investment Gruppe aus England das erfolgreiche „closing“ seines 10. Life Sciences Fonds – den Abingworth Bioventures VI (ABV VI). ABV VI – bekannt. Mit £225 Mio. (ca. 273 Mio. EUR) wurde das Ziel von £200 Mio. sogar übertroffen. Der neue Fonds investiert primär in die europäische und amerikanischen Life Sciences und Healthcare Branche. Dabei soll laut Abingworth in sämtliche Entwicklungsstufen investiert werden – von Frühphasen bis Spätphasenfinanzierung.
