Die BioVaria ist Europas führende Veranstaltung für Innovationen in den Life-Sciences. Sie wird von Ascenion und anderen europäischen Technologietransferunternehmen organisiert, um potenzielle Lizenznehmer und Investoren aus Biotechnologie und Pharmaindustrie mit Wissenschaftlern, Gründern und Technologietransferexperten aus ganz Europa zusammenzubringen. Am 27. & 28. April 2026 präsentieren erstklassige Forschungseinrichtungen, Universitäten und Universitätskliniken rund 70 ausgewählte, lizenzierbare Life-Science-Technologien. Auch in diesem Jahr werden zusätzlich Projekte in frühen Entwicklungsphasen vorgestellt, darunter Projekte aus Ascenions Life Science Digital Hub, der durch GO-Bio initial gefördert wird.
Das Startup Pitch & Partner-Programm der BioVaria gilt seit Jahren als besonderes Highlight: von einer Jury ausgewählte Start-ups haben die Chance, ihre Projekte internationalen und regionalen Investoren zu präsentieren und ein Preisgeld zu gewinnen. BioVaria is Europe’s leading event for innovation in the life sciences. Organized by Ascenion and other European technology transfer companies, it brings together potential licensees and investors from the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries with scientists, founders and technology transfer experts from all over Europe. On April 27 & 28, 2026, first-class research institutions, universities and university hospitals will present around 70 selected, licensable life science technologies. This year again, projects in early stages of development will also be presented, including projects from Ascenion’s Life Science Digital Hub, which is funded by GO-Bio initial.
The Startup Pitch & Partner program at BioVaria has been a special highlight for years: startups selected by a jury are given the opportunity to present their projects to international and regional investors and win prize money.
